It is a key component of our "Mission and Guiding Principles" to help achieve the U.S. goals set out in the Energy Independence and Security Act of 2007 (EISA) and the Renewable Fuel Standards (RFS) policies which work to set targets for the increased use of advance biofuels in the U.S. (See reference 5)

In California, REII will contribute to the attainment of the state's Low Carbon Fuel Standard (LCFS) goals. (See reference 6)
